This is my take on the Fred Neil song that was covered by Harry Nilsson and featured in the film Midnight Cowboy. Al Casey from the Wrecking Crew played the iconic picked rhythm guitar part. I played it in drop D tuning with chords in the key of D and a capo on the 2nd fret. The lead guitar part is drop D in the key of E.
